Physician / Medical Director

Physician / Medical Director

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree
  • Medical Doctor license, current and in good standing
  • National board certification in internal medicine, family practice, or cardiology preferred
  • Working knowledge of cardiac rehabilitation, wellness programs, community outreach initiatives, and cardiovascular screening methods
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Registered Nurse / Case Manager

  • Diploma, ASN, BSN, MSN, or PhD Nursing degree

Stress Management Specialist

Stress Management Specialist

  • Certification (200 hour basic yoga teacher certification) from a traditional yoga teacher-training program (i.e., Integral Yoga Institute, Ananda, Sivananda, Kripalu, American Yoga College or Himalayan Institute Centers), or comparable training and teaching experience
  • Training in breathing techniques, the science and practice of meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, and solid background in the body postures of Hatha yoga
  • Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through the National Yoga Alliance preferred
  • Actively practicing the postures, meditation, breathing techniques and Program lifestyle

Registered Dietician

Registered Dietician

  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Nutrition Science
  • State licensure
  • Completion of an ACEND accredited supervised practice program
  • Research experience preferred
  • Experience using nutrition analysis software

Program Director

Program Director

  • This role can be filled with anyone from the 6-person primary team
  • Business, administration, and marketing experience preferred
  • Experience with billing and reimbursement procedures
  • Previous experience building and managing successful multidisciplinary patient care programs, to include developing and monitoring budgets
  • Experience managing cardiac rehabilitation programs preferred
  • Strong team building, administration and participative management skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of billing and reimbursement procedures
  • High-level understanding of the clinical underpinnings of the Program

Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant 

  • Solid understanding of the Dr. Dean Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease in order to convey accurate information
  • Excellent organizational and public relations skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Familiarity with hospital, cardiac rehabilitation, and billing procedures

Chef / Food Services

Chef/Food Services

  • Certification from cooking school or five years apprenticeship at a restaurant or with a caterer
  • Experience as a chef with background in management, supervision, and basic sanitation skills
  • Experience in cooking low-fat vegetarian meals without added oils
